Have you heard? The Packers are HOT and trailblazing their way to the SUPERBOWL!
I’m not sure why it’s taken me this long to create a Packer’s word chart. I have lots of other word charts already created, many of which were inspired by my writer’s intrests and passions. Anyway…this year’s class has asked for a Packers word list chart and they’ll be pleased that it’s finally done! I am…LOL!

The other day I mentioned to my students that they need to begin “digging deeper” with their sentences. I thought about that phrase for a few days and decided it was waaaayyy to ambigious and my kiddos probably didn’t know what I meant. They needed a visual. So today we spent time making a Digging Deeper anchor chart. We created three stories all about the same topic. In doing so, it is easy for them to compare the stories and see which story truly does give the audience more details to “munch on” – - LOL. ”Munch on” – - now that will be our next anchor chart…”How an audience ‘munches on’ our story. LOL.

We created our Writer’s Workshop timeline in class today. I changed it up from the traditional linear timeline format to a pie graph. We will change the bulleted expectations as needed throughout the year. This photo was added to my Communication Arts Anchor Chart page.
